An improvement in the pit and paddock facilities wouldn't go amiss, but yeah, leave the circuit well alone. Let Donington concentrate on national racing series like the BTCC and the odd international race like World Superbikes or maybe even tempt the DTM up there again
Silverstone really is the only circuit in the UK capable of hosting F1 and F1 cars. Let's keep it that way, otherwise the true character of the circuit will be ruined. Donington and Brands Hatch are just fine the way they are. F1 going there will ruin them _________________ 'Ray, if you dress like a maths teacher again I'm going to paint your balls like hazelnuts and tell a bag of squirrels winter's coming!' - Gene Hunt

Did they not already dig some of the old track up?

Maybe they can just jolly well put it back. _________________ I travel on First Capital Connect, and I vote.

I'm not sure. I know they've already built a tunnel under the track but I don't know about digging up any of the original track _________________ 'Ray, if you dress like a maths teacher again I'm going to paint your balls like hazelnuts and tell a bag of squirrels winter's coming!' - Gene Hunt

They'll have to do something in order to honour contracts for races in 2010...races other than the GP. _________________ I travel on First Capital Connect, and I vote.

If they default on one contract, I consider it possible that they will default on more.

Such a sad video. I wasn't listening to the commentary lifted from other sources but the pictures of the circuit in its current state are incredibly sad
Someone needs to step up and get Donington fixed. We lost it for 40-odd years in the middle of the previous century; we cannot let it happen again _________________ 'Ray, if you dress like a maths teacher again I'm going to paint your balls like hazelnuts and tell a bag of squirrels winter's coming!' - Gene Hunt

And so sad that Tom Wheatcroft should die before the circuit he was so proud of could be returned to a decent state. _________________ I travel on First Capital Connect, and I vote.
